Alan Courtis and André Neves talk Os Heróis Indianos Romanos Africanos project

As part of a project initiated by OUT.RA in 2016 in collaboration with Associação Nós, an NGO from Barreiro dedicated to promoting social inclusion for special needs individuals or those in vulnerable situations, Os Heróis Indianos Romanos Africanos is a band/collective comprised of roughly 20 musicians that annually workshops and presents its music to the local community.

Led by the charismatic Alan Courtis of the Argentinian musical group Reynols, alongside the assistance of André Neves, Bá Álvares and Leonardo Bindilatti, this project will have the honors of opening the twentieth edition of OUT.FEST, on October 2nd.

In this short teaser capturing a glimpse of the band's workshops and rehearsals over the years, Alan Courtis and André Neves explain the impact this work has had on their artistic perspective and the importance of providing musical freedom to special needs crowds.
