Aleksandra Mitrović
Based in Germany, the media artist and sound designer Aleksandra Mitrović works across experimental sound, radio, and audiovisual storytelling. She is a member of Chief Executive Girls, an interdisciplinary performance duo exploring the intersections of digital identity, speculative fiction, and embodied media.
Through her works and collaborations, she creates immersive spaces that explore the narrative potential of sonic textures, rhythms, and objects, inviting audiences into dialogue. Her recent research focuses on sound’s capacity to shape collective experience, focusing on poetic and political resonances of listening, silence, and presence.
During her stay she will present the iteration of the work “Before the Storm”, a speculative sonic forest set-up, exploring silence as a form of political and poetic resistance.
