With Endroits d’un lieu, sound artist Armand Lesecq deploys a device dedicated to the sonic exploration of a space and the activation of its unique acoustic micro-phenomena.

The installation consists of a highly directional loudspeaker, capable of projecting sound into space with a very narrow beam, like a laser beam. It interacts with the space it occupies, exploring acoustic nooks, resonances, surfaces and materials, as well as the listeners present, and bringing to light its invisible acoustic characteristics.

During this residency (May 11–22, 2026), Armand Lesecq was able to explore and make recordings in two different locations: a former hat shop and a church, and present his project to the public.
