Young Wolves 25 / TEKHNÉ – Sound Sessions Report
🎧 Young Wolves Festival 2025 | TEKHNÉ: Be Aware of Sound Held annually since 2014 by the Academy of Art in Szczecin, the Young Wolves Festival is one of Poland’s most important showcases of emerging art. The 2025 edition was held in collaboration with the international TEKHNÉ – Be Aware of Sound project, exploring the emancipatory potential of sound and technology in contemporary art.
From May 11–17, young artists from Poland, Portugal, Belgium, Latvia, and Germany came together in Szczecin to present sound installations, audio walks, performances, and experimental music. The programme featured exhibitions, lectures, concerts, and outdoor events across TRAFO, Zona, Grodzka 7, and the New School in Kopice.
🎙 The festival featured lectures and presentations by experts such as Caroline Profanter (Q-O2, Belgium), Jan Rohlf (CTM Festival, Berlin), Antoni Michnik (Institute of Art, Polish Academy of Sciences) and more.
🎧 Curated by Zorka Wollny, Łukasz Jastrubczak, and the extended curatorial teams.
