
Os Heróis Indianos Romanos Africanos SMUP concert report
On February 22, Os Heróis Indianos Romanos Africanos - the band sparked by our ongoing project in collaboration with Associação NÓS, an NGO from Barreiro dedicated to promoting social inclusion for so-called ‘disabled’ individuals or those in vulnerable situations - played their first show north of the Tagus River at SMUP, a venue with more than 100 years of activity in Parede, neighboring Lisbon.
This show is part of a persistent effort to showcase this type of inclusive activity and awareness outreach to a broader audience, and to question and challenge narratives of incapacity and inability.
